ASCENT provides easy access to state-of-the-art nanoelectronics facilities at imec in Belgium, CEA-Leti in France and Tyndall in Ireland.
The Research Accelerator Programme gives PhD students an on-site introduction to the technology available in the three partner sites. This will give students a clear insight into how they can use ASCENT to accelerate their own research.
PhD students are invited to apply for up to six places to visit imec in Belgium where they will be introduced to the ASCENT access programme and attend advanced training in nanoelectronics reliability techniques over four days. Further opportunities will follow in the two other partner sites early in 2018.
