ASCENT Research Accelerator Programme for PhD students

ASCENT Research Accelerator Programme for PhD students

ASCENT provides easy access to state-of-the-art nanoelectronics facilities at imec in Belgium, CEA-Leti in France and Tyndall in Ireland.

The Research Accelerator Programme gives PhD students an on-site introduction to the technology available in the three partner sites. This will give students a clear insight into how they can use ASCENT to accelerate their own research.

First Call:

PhD students are invited to apply for up to six places to visit imec in Belgium where they will be introduced to the ASCENT access programme and attend advanced training in nanoelectronics reliability techniques over four days. Further opportunities will follow in the two other partner sites early in 2018.

How to apply:

An Application Form and CV should be submitted through the ASCENT web site before Friday 20th October 2017.

Successful applicants will be notified before 31st October 2017.

What is covered?

ASCENT will support training and travel/subsistence costs.

Eligibility:  Registered PhD students are eligible to apply for one course outside their own country.

Next step:  Apply online NOW – closing date Friday 20th October 2018
